March for Life in Washington D.C., on January, 22 2009

Be a part of the 36th annual March for Life in Washington D.C. on January 22, 2009. Arrive at the National Mall by noon to be a part of history.

The March for Life began in 1974 to memorialize the Supreme Court’s infamous abortion decisions and to “petition Congress for redress”. On January 22, 1974, the first March for Life was held on the West Steps of the Capitol. An estimated 20,000 committed prolife Americans rallied that day on behalf of our preborn brothers and sisters. In 1974, the March for Life was incorporated as a non-profit, non-partisan, non-sectarian organization.

Take part in the March for Life on January 22, 2009, just two days after Inauguration Day! For more information, view the following activity flyer from the March for Life website.
