District 18: District Deputy Report for February 2015

I bring you greetings from our State Deputy, Stephen J. Adamczyk, whose theme is “Be Not Afraid, Our Faith is Our Courage”.

By the time you read this, the mid-term review in early January will have passed by, The January issue of the Knights of Columbus Columbian Magazine article: “500 Ultrasound Machines and Counting” has a picture of our State Deputy with Supreme Knight Carol A. Anderson and GBC for Pregnancy Consensus on page 11. The National March for Life event Jan. 22nd will have concluded, and the Mid-Term Reports should have been sent in to Supreme and State, (copies to your DD please!).

February holds our District Basketball Free Throw competition, a series of First Degrees, a Second Degree and a Third Degree in our District. The District 18 winners will be able to compete in the Maryland State Basketball Free Throw March 15th at the School of the Incarnation.

Feb 16th is Maryland Lobby Night.

With the 117th State Convention coming up fast, this is a reminder the resolutions must be submitted to State on or before March 1st deadline.

State will have a Maryland March for Life on March 9th. The Sate Founders Day Mass will be on Sunday March 22 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Middle River, MD.

And, finally, the Book of Reports is due April 1st! (no fooling!).

Vivat Jesus,
