Council helping with Chase Partnership House to provide for the Rockville community

St. Elizabeth Council is encouraging its members and families to help our local homeless shelter, Chase Partnership House, this March. Details below:

Helping Our Local Homeless Shelter

March 14/15

Annual Collection of

Paper Goods & Men’s Toiletries

Chase Partnership House is a 36-bed shelter for homeless men on East Gude Drive in Rockville. The Shelter provides safe, substance abuse-free transitional housing where homeless men can receive help in their lives while preparing for independent living in the community. The Shelter is operated by Catholic Charities and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is always full to capacity.

For more than fifteen years, St. Elizabeth’s has had an annual collection of paper goods and men’s toiletries to assist the clients of Chase Partnership House. This year, the Shelter asked us to include boxes of cereal as one of their priorities.

This year’s collection will be held the weekend of March 14/15 when collection boxes will be available in the Commons to receive your donations.

Priority items needed include:

PAPER PRODUCTS: Plates, bowls, napkins, paper towels, toilet paper, and plastic cutlery.

MEN’S TOILETRIES: Shampoo, soap, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and non-alcoholic mouthwash.

OTHER: Boxes of Cereal and Detergent
